MCS Theme Logo Design

Midland Christian School is a gem. My oldest daughter attended for preschool and kindergarten and was incredibly well prepared for first grade. My youngest attended preschool there last year and will be starting kindergarten in a few short weeks. She is very excited to get back in there! The teachers and community at MCS are fantastic.

Over the years I've had the pleasure of designing a few shirts here and helping with other varied design projects. Early this summer I was able to meet and collaborate with the director of marketing and social media, Natalie Lodicobond, on designing a new logo for the 2018-2019 school year theme; Sovereignty of Christ. After some brainstorming and sketching we landed on the idea of a "coat" or a "nest" to envelop the existing logo. We also needed to be able to have different versions with varying levels of detail depending on size of use.

I'm so thrilled to be asked to be a part of this project and I am hopeful to see that gold foil design on a navy shirt or tote bag in the near future!
