Unrequited Letters

Back in January, Alicia Bucci reached out to me to help create the first impression for her book of poetry; the cover art. I love this kind of job. I love that I get to be a part of this dream coming true for this talented poet's first publication! This dream, that I know she worked on for years and poured her heart and soul into... I got to wrap it up in a bow for her, so when it sits on a shelf people can see what she is all about.

When we first discussed the project her requests were:
- a hand written looking script for the title
- coordinating sans serif font for the rest of the text
- a weeping willow tree
- light or gray blue colors

Here are the first three options I sent for her consideration:

Option #3 was the winner. From there we moved on to details and options for the back:

The final design printed up so nicely and I am very pleased to have this thoughtfully penned, soulful book in my collection. Unrequited Letters is now available on Amazon.com.
