Color Palette: Snowy Beauty

We had a pretty significant snow fall this week in mid-Michigan. I am not ready for winter, to be perfectly honest, but it was so beautiful! Between the snow, all things winter holidays dominating all the stores, and my kids being hyped up to see Frozen 2, I was inspired to create these six snow inspired color palettes. I tried to work in a nice variety of colors, so we’re not just talking blue and gray for all of them.

I also keep seeing this quote and repeating it to myself to mentally prepare for when winter hits for real:

If you choose not to find joy in the snow, you will have less joy in your life but still the same amount of snow.

ROAD TO THE OVERLOOK HOTEL
The pops of glorious evergreen in winter give me life! I just crave green once the cold winter months set.

Icy green is a thing, and it’s lovely. Sometimes winter feels like magic.

And little bits of deep mustard yellow and deep burgundy that hang on through those cold months are beautiful too. Fall and winter transitions are so colorful!
